Communications & Publications »
The Communication Committee's overall objective is to maintain a member communications program that will help to increase membership and position AITP as a leader in building careers and shaping policy for the IT profession. The Committee monitors the effectiveness of the AITP member communications program and recommends revisions for ABoD approval. The Committee also provides assistance to other AITP units as needed to support member and external communications efforts.

This Committee is charged with preparing a leadership development program for leaders at all levels of the association. The program will be delivered through various web-based media such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, webinars, etc. The goal is to provide leaders with best practices and information about AITP that they need to know to effectively lead their sub-unit of the association.

The National Collegiate Conference Committee devotes itself specifically to AITP's flagship event for students across the nation, the Annual National Collegiate Conference. .
Partners & Affiliates »
This committee is responsible for ensuring that partner and affiliates programs are up to date, properly administered, that they reflect the contemporary needs of the members of the Association for tangible benefits of AITP membership, and are comparable to benefits provided by similar associations. The committee evaluates partner and affiliate proposals and recommends to the Executive Committee and then ABoD whether they should be adopted.
Professional & Enterprise Members Programs »
This committee develops initiatives, campaigns, and materials needed to increase awareness of the benefits of AITP membership among non-members in the IT professional community and to encourage non-members to join the Association (recruitment). It recommends new member promotions for consideration by ABoD,conducts membership studies, and develops initiatives, campaigns and materials needed to help increase the retention rate of the membership. This committee may recommend additional member benefits for consideration by the appropriate committees, task forces, and/or ABoD. The committee is also charged with conducting a needs analysis from members with which to guide Association programs and affiliations.
Region President’s Council
The Region Presidents Council (RPC) provides input to the Association Board of Directors regarding the establishment, dissolution, and support of chapters throughout the Association. It shares ideas for chapter/region development between regions. The RPC provides input on association programs, services and plans.

Standards of Conduct & Ethics »
This Standing Committee is responsible for maintaining the currency and relevance of the AITP Code of Ethics. Also, in the event of allegations of ethical misconduct, the committee supports ABoD in conducting any necessary investigative or disciplinary proceedings. Guidelines for this committee are outlined in the AITP Operating Procedures Manual found on the AITP.org.
