AITP Research Projects

The mission of the Research and Strategy Advisory Group (RASAG of AITP is to research trends and directions in the Information Technology (IT) industry; state the findings and conclusions drawn from the research; recommend AITP strategy positions; and re-evaluate existing AITP strategy positions based on new findings.

AITP RASAG is comprised of leaders and IT executives from academia and industry, government and legal sectors and have issued the following research papers:

"Cloud Computing Basics

"Virtualization and its Benefits

"Greening of IT" through Implementing Server Virtualization

An Investigation of AITP Membership Using the Ideal Computing Association Survey

"The AITP Model Curriculum
