Michael Meyers- CEO at Islanda Tech
Islanda is Cloud Service provider in Hawaii specializing in Infrastructure as a Service. Mr. Meyers' background includes new media development for Oceanic Time Warner Cable, the original RoadRunner launch with Time Warner Cable, and new business development focusing on technology implementation. Mr. Meyers' specializes in new business and new technology development, IT infrastructure management, change management, technical training and education, online course development, international consulting and negotiation specializing in Japan, China, and Korea.

Matt Busch- CEO at Busch Consulting
In the late '80s, Matthias Busch, founder of Busch Consulting, moved to Hawaii to work on his PHD at the University of Hawaii and to enjoy his passion for windsurfing at Diamond Head. After six months, Matthias became frustrated with the jobs he was offered and decided to try things on his own - and thus Busch Consulting was born. After establishing themselves as a leader in technology and with the advent of the Internet, BCI quickly shifted its focus from Wide Area Networks to Information Security, offering one of the first commercial Firewalls (AltaVista) in Honolulu. Replacing the complete outward facing security infrastructure for a 2000 user hospital put BCI on the map as a leader in Information Security.

Daryl Thomas-CEO at BlackBird
Mr. Thomas has spent considerable time with BlackBird's Business Continuity Appliance. This onsite storage device for Windows Servers utilizes backup, recovery and virtualization software to protect businesses and helps to ensure server and data are back up and running in minutes rather than days. Mr. Thomas believes business continuity refers to the daily activities performed to maintain service, consistency, and recoverability which is extremely important in the case of a major disaster or crash to protect against extended downtime.
