 Topic: Motivating your customers to use the self-service portal

Self-service portals have the potential to save your organization a bunch of money. In order to realize this savings you have got to get people consistently using it. In this short session Matthew will discuss some of the strategies you can use to increase the usage of the self-service portal. He will share with you some practical ideas for motivating your customers and IT employees to see the self-service portal as a customer service enhancing tool. He will also discuss some of the methods you can use to drive the necessary information to the technicians without requiring a string of back and forth conversations.

Speaker: Matthew Bray Nimeth M.A.

Matthew is a senior instructional designer for Cherwell Software. He brings his humor and professional expertise into the training arena, regularly teaching the CSM Foundations class. He is also a gifted instructional designer for e-learning and instructor-led training. His experience includes web enabled learning services, LMS configuration and management, IT training management, and help desk system support. He has degrees in Computer Information Systems Management as well as Curriculum and Instruction.
