Topic: Cell and Mobile Device Forensics: This lecture will discuss various techniques used to preserve and analyze various type of mobile devices. It will cover some of the latest technologies, plus highlight some of the challenges involved in this area of forensic analysis.
Speaker: David Gallant was a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations for almost 15 years where he conducted criminal, white collar, terrorism, and counterintelligence investigations. For his final five years, he specialized in computer crime investigations. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he entered the corporate security world with e-fense, Inc. In 2009, he started his own company, Gallant Computer Investigative Services, located here in the San Antonio area. He provides computer mobile device forensic services, as well as Expert Witness, Computer Crime consultation, e-Discovery and training. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AccessData Certified Instructor and Examiner, and a Texas Licensed Private Investigator.
