Slate of Association Office/Director Candidates for

the 2013 National Board!

Each year, the Association Recruitment Committee (ARC) and District Recruiting Committees (DRCs – Eastern, Central, Southern and Western) are charged with recruiting professional members of AITP to run for office on the national board.

The following candidates have qualified for serving as an officer or director. Please note that pursuant to the Association Bylaws, voting is not conducted for any uncontested races (only one candidate running) and these candidates are ratified by the current national board and shall automatically serve.

Due to the resignation of Robin Byler as Western District Director, AITP professional members do not need to vote for its 2013 Association Board of Directors. By action of the Association Board of Directors, Pete Schmitt was appointed to serve the remainder of Robin's unexpired term and Al Strong was accepted as the 2013 Western District Director. These board members are our leaders for 2013. Feel free to contact them to understand their AITP perspectives. And, please consider volunteering to help these leaders in 2013 and beyond!
