To register for one of the weekly training classes on
Thursdays in August at 4 p.m. CDT, please reply to webtraining@aitp.org and we
will send you the Live Meeting link. Training for administering group pages can
also be found by hovering over "AITP Leaders Only” and selecting "Group Admin
Training – YM”.
HOW TO
RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP ONLINE: Login to the
site to update your profile, access the Members Only areas, and securely renew
your dues. To renew your membership online: 1. Sign in with username &
password2. On the right side in the My Profile box, click "Membership Info."
3. On the Membership Information page, click on "Securely renew your
membership now."4. Fill out the rest of the form and click submit.
HOW TO CONVERT A STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
TO PROFESSIONAL OR S2P: Welcome
back to Campus! Is this your last semester? Did you graduate in the summer
semester? Congratulations and welcome to the real world of projects, deadlines,
and repaying student loans. Do you know that AITP offers a S2P (Student to
Professional) dues discount for graduating students to ease their transition
into their professional life. The S2P dues discount is a 3-year allowance on
the National portion of your AITP dues starting at $35 for the first year, $45
for the second year and $55 for the third year. Local chapter dues are in
addition to the S2P rate. Contact the Membership Services Service Area at
memberservices@aitp.org for more information.
HOW TO
EMAIL A MEMBER: Login with your username
and password.
- Enter the member's name in the Community Search box on the top
left hand Menu Navigation. If you do not login, the system will look for
Association or Chapter news or pages that mention that
member.
- Click on the member's
highlighted name in the Search Results. This will take you to the member's
profile page.
- Select Message and you will be taken to the form to send a
one-to-one email message.
You can also check for
Messages by selecting Messages from the right hand menus in My Profile. You
will be taken to the Message Center Home where you can check your Inbox and your
sent messages. Message Options include message a member, message a connection,
or message all connections.

STUDENT MEMBER DUES REDUCED TO $30 PER YEAR: At the July ABOD meeting, a motion was adopted to set Student Membership dues at $30 per year.
FOR CHAPTER LEADERS: YOUR GROUP ROSTER: Using the chapter’s Group Admin login, you will see a red bar above the Welcome message:
- Click on Group Admin Options
- Click on Member Management => Export Group Members.
This will give you all the records is a csv file format You can then open the file with Excel or other spreadsheet programs. The Web Portal Committee is working on a more fully featured alternative to the standard csv file.
You can also view the member list by selecting Group Directory which gives you the member name list with hyperlinks to the detail information.
You can also print that listing by selecting the print page icon from the blue horizontal menu bar.
EVENT REGISTRATION: While we continue our research on the event registration solution, we encourage you to use your chapter or region’s present registration process. See example used by the Dallas Chapter under "RSVP for our Next Meeting"..
SENDING GROUP EMAIL MESSAGES: There is a bulk email tool to send out messages to the entire group, available to the Group Admin ID for the chapter. Although the email of the admin account is limited to one individual, officers can update the email address as they use the account.
- When you log in as the admin you will see a red bar above the Welcome message, click on Group Admin Options
- Click on Member Communication => Email All Group Members
- You will be presented with the Step 1 page which needs a Subject and the Email Body. The from field will show the Group Admin’s information.
- Step 2 allows you to either edit (takes you back to step 1) or send email (if it looks okay) .
GUEST LIST:If you did not capture your current Guest List from the old portal, please complete a request on a Contact Us form and we will send you a copy of the list.
