No longer can IT professionals rely solely on their technical skills. Today's industry (as indicated in an AITP survey of CIO's across the country) requires well-rounded individual with both technical AND interpersonal skills - particularly the ability to communicate on multiple levels and in all forms.
To address these needs the Cornhusker AITP Chapter is offering both technical and interpersonal skill content. Our regular monthly meetings will focus on business competencies related to leadership. The quarterly Learn IT @ Lunches offer the technical piece. This will form the IT Business Professional triangle - development of technical skills, business knowledge, and soft skills!
The Cornhusker Chapter of AITP generally meets on the third Thursday of the month at 5:00 pm for social/networking. Program begins at 6:00pm. Guests are always welcome! Simply RSVP and we'll see you at the meeting!
