Sun & Sand aptly describes the geography covered by AITP's Southwestern Region (Region 1). Our Region starts at the Pacific Coast of Southern California and stretches across the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts into Nevada and Arizona then north up through the Great Basin to Utah.

We support five Professional Chapters and six Student Chapters in addition to student members who are not affiliated with a local chapter.
