Jack K. Roof wrote on the Washington DC: DC - Washington DC wall: Tracy Wade was an enthusiastic presenter at the Aug 11 dinner meeting. There was great discussion on techniques on attracting attention from employers and preparing a targeted resume for a specific position. More importantly was the preplanning about who you are and how you like to work and the risk factors you are willing to take to get ahead. Lakisha from his firm, Hire Power also shared her expertise on identifying your strengths and presenting value to prospective employers. The attendance was low but with our web problems and August being vacation time, we had a great time. Mr. Melvin Barnes, our Cybersecurity presenter for Sep 8 attended for the first time as a new member.
