Education/Experience

Norbert is a technology and operations executive and a technology leadership consultant. His senior executive experience: SVP & CIO for Sunterra Corporation; VP, Operations & CIO for The Leading Hotels of the World and Prima Hotels; VP & CIO for BCM Inc.; VP & CTO for Optimal Solutions; VP & CIO for Educational Testing Service; and VP & COO, Network Services Division of National Data Corporation. Norbert's consulting experience includes private practice as well as having been a Technology Leadership Partner with Tatum LLC and Director of Consulting Operations for Stellcom Inc.
A graduate of Seton Hall University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Norbert is a Certified Computing Professional, author of over 70 publications on technology and business, and a frequent conference speaker. He co-founded the Technology Leadership Forum and co-developed the Technology Leadership Essentials program at Carnegie Mellon University.

A member of AITP (DPMA) since 1979, Norbert was 2012 Association President. He has served the Association as an officer, director and committee chair at the Chapter, Region and Association levels. Norbert is a Life Member with a Lifetime Emerald IPA .
Norbert's other professional activities include the American Management Association (AMA) Information Systems & Technology Council, Trustee of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the Advisory Board of CIO Decisions, and membership in Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). He was a founding member of the Las Vegas chapter of Women in Technology International (WITI), served on its Leadership Council, and started the annual charity event, Technology for Tots, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Norbert also chaired the Information Management Working Group for the ACM/IEEE Curriculum 2001 and the AMA Year 2000 Forum. |

| Computerworld named Norbert a Premier 100 Technology Leader in 2007. He has also received a Technology Leadership Award from Hewlett Packard and a Technology Innovation Award from National Computer Systems. He was elected a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) in 2006. Norbert currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Coleman University. |
