The Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee advises AITP members and the Association Board of Directors on relevant Federal and state legislative and regulatory trends and initiatives, as well as legislative and regulatory issues affecting Canada and Europe.  Membership on the Committee is open to any AITP member in good standing.  The Committee maintains this Group to conduct on-line discussions of legislative and regulatory topics, conduct Committee polls, and post documents.  Committee members also provide testimony before legislative bodies and government agencies on technology-related issues.  The Committee also leverages itself in the legislative and regulatory arena by teaming with other organizations with similar interests.
