About Our Chapter

What’s New

If you are a student at UMW (either campus) and enrolled in any of the IT-related disciplines, you are eligible to join AITP. Please contact any of the chapter officers to learn more.

The purpose of this student chapter is to develop a better understanding of information technology within University of Mary Washington students enrolled in the MBA, MSMIS, or Dual programs. This is accomplished through the study of equipment, the sharing of sound IT principles and methods, and assisting members in solving IT problems. In addition, the chapter fosters among students a better understanding of the vital business role of IT and a professional attitude among IT professionals.
