Welcome to the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals
The IT Management User Group
November Meeting - The Internet of Things
Our next chapter meeting will be Wednesday, November 18, from 5:30-7:00 at On the Border in CitiPlace.
Our discussion topic this month is the Internet of Things (IoT). In 2014 Gartner called IoT the most over-hyped technology, but vendors and customers alike are betting heavily on the technology and are investing a lot of money toward its development. So, is IoT finally becoming more reality than hype? If so, what new opportunities and challenges will it present to our businesses?
There is no charge for this meeting and light appetizers will be served. Our meetings are open to guests and prospective members. Please pass this invitation on to any colleagues who may be interested in attending.
We will have registration and networking from 5:30 to 6:00 followed by chapter business and our discussion.
I hope that you consider coming to the meeting and helping us create a forum for our IT management community. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, November 17, if you plan to attend.
Our mission is to serve our members by delivering:
