Marc Smith gave us an illuminating view of IBM and their equipment, as well as introduced us to some of their partners who also provide excellent information. THE MAINFRAME is NOT DEAD and WILL NOT BE DYING! That to me, was the significant message. What percentage of the top 500 webservers are IBM mainframe? Let me know at our next meeting in April.
