2014 AITP National Collegiate Conference Results
Thanks to all the support the community has given via our
many fundraising activities,15 Kent State University at Ashtabula students
were able to attend this year’s Association of Information Technology
Professionals National Collegiate Conference, April 10-12 in Atlanta GA.
Along with over 700 other attendees, our students competed in IT contests,
attended technology workshops and educational sessions, networked with
employers and other IT professionals at the career fair, and attempted their
industry certification exams.
As usual, KSUA students showed the KSUA campus can hold their own against any
in the nation. Our students received 1st and 2nd place
awards in several competitions and ICCP & CBCA certifications.
However, this year the students brought home the highest honor of all... KSUA
AITP was selected as both the Regional and National 2014 Outstanding Student
Chapter of the Year! Congratulations to the students and thank you to everyone
for the support and making this happen for them!
