Registration Details
*Last updated on July 16, 2015*

Fees must be received by AITP HQs by 3/21/2016 otherwise you LOSE the early bird registration discount
and will be assessed +$35/registration to match the onsite price.

Conference Registration will open by mid-Jan, 2016

Registration Procedures:

1. ALL student attendees are strongly encouraged to have either already joined AITP as a student member or renewed their student membership (so as to be a member through 4/30/2016) for $30 at PRIOR to registering for the conference. This makes things considerably easier as you will already know or have the member ID and/or the email address associated with the student membership. You can always bundle or include the student membership fee if you wish (refer to item #3 below).

2. Register Individuals Groups in the NEW Batch Mode (just click REGISTER on the left) and the email address/password is ONLY for after you have registered to modify your registration data and/or add contest events/teams/team members!

3. You NEED to know the member ID or member email address for each "member" registrant as the member ID or correct email address it will verify membership. Otherwise you can register students and bundle the $30 AITP student membership fees at the same time.

4. Once registered, anyone from the same school can view/add/change/adjust contest events and team members up until contest check-in time!

5. There are FAQ's, a Help Desk and a Contact Us link/page for additional information.

Performance of the conference is subject to acts of God, government authority, disaster or other emergencies that are beyond the control of the parties (AITP and you the attendee), any of which make it illegal or impossible to provide the services and/or facilities related to this conference. It is provided that this Agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other without liability. In the event that the conference is not able to be held due to "force majeure" conditions or situations listed above - a full refund of registration fees will be provided.

Many students have asked about what is "appropriate" attire for the conference so here are some suggested guidelines to follow:

Day Activities Suggested Attire
Thu Travel, Registration, Contests Casual
Fri & Sat Keynote, Breakout Sessions, Exhibit Area Business Casual or Better
Fri & Sat Contests Casual
Sat Night Banquet Dressy (Business or Better)
Sun Travel Casual

Remember, our conference keynoters, breakout speakers and exhibitors want to be impressed by AITP and likewise, you want to impress them as well, especially if you are seeking information and/or opportunities from the career fair exhibitors. In other words, dress to impress but don't dress to "depress or shock". However, "comfortable and acceptable" attire is encouraged for the contest events which are held at the conference hotel. After all, we want you to be comfortable as you go for the winner circle at this year's conference but you also want to look sharp when we take your "winner picture" at the banquet too!

Fortunately, we have not had any major problems nor incidents but at the request of our speakers and exhibitors, we kindly ask for your respect, promptness and attention for all conference keynotes, breakout sessions, contest events and exhibitors. Remember, you are representing not only AITP, but your respective college/university and all other AITP members at this conference.
Emergency contact information will also be provided at conference registration "just in case".

Should you require the services of a bellman, the concierge desk, the valet parking staff members or others, please remember that they are there to serve you but also work for tips. We do, however, kindly ask that you are considerate of the hotel staff that goes the extra mile and performs additional services like the bellman, spa/health club attendants, hail a cab and so forth. Much like restaurant workers, the majority of their income comes from tips and they "kindly ask you to compensate them for the requested services that they provide you".
