Did you know this....about St. Louis? |
Did you know that St. Louis boasts more free major visitor attractions
than anywhere else in the United States? In nearby Forest Park, one of
the largest city parks in the nation, you can visit St. Louis’ major
museums like the Art Museum and the Missouri History Museum, as well as
the Science Center and Planetarium and one of the finest and largest

Laclede’s Landing, a vibrant entertainment district just north of the
hotel, features preserved historic brick and iron façade buildings along
cobblestone streets housing some of St. Louis’ best restaurants and
nightclubs. Laclede’s Landing is also the site of the city’s only
downtown casino. Nearby Union Station, once the largest and most

Ground Transportation
as well as to/from the "entertainment districts" while in town!

- The CHEAPEST way per person to get from the
airport to the hotel and back is the Metrolink Train which is
$3.75 airport-to-downtown and $2.25 back to the airport for a total
cost per person of only $6 (get off at the Stadium stations,
go around the baseball stadium towards the river, go 1 block and you
are at the hotel!)
- IMPORTANT: Cash ONLY for the Metro Train!!!!!!
- NOTE: based on time between trains, this could easily take
30-45mins to get to/from the airport to downtown so plan for it
- NOTE: There are 2 Union Station Metro train stops and the
Amtrack train is closer to the Civic Center Metro Station (not the
classic/heritage Union Station) and you get off at the next stop -
the Stadium station where the hotel is!
