If your Region 5 Student Chapter is planning on attending the National Collegiate Conference in St. Louis, MO, April 4-7, 2013, your chapter may qualify to be awarded a $250 grant from Region 5 to help with your chapter's travel/registration expenses.
Region 5 has approved funds to award up to three grants of $250 each to deserving Region 5 student chapters that will be attending the NCC.
To apply, go to http://www.aitp.org/region5 (the Region 5 website). In the upper center of the page will be "Region Quick Links" Below that will be "Region Information". Click on that and you will find listings for "2013 Region 5 NCC Grant Form" and "2013 Region 5 NCC Grant Procedure". Download those documents and follow the instructions.
In the procedure, pay particular attention to point 6 since that is the criteria that is used by the Selection Committee to award grants.
The deadline for electronically submitting grant applications is February 25, 2013.
