Get your Game On for the Fri Night Gaming Zone:
Get your Game on in the ATL!

On February 8, 2014 all the National Collegiate Conference Sponsoring Student Chapters met with the rest of the National Conference Committee and National Board members to discuss the upcoming national conference in Atlanta Georgia, April 10-12, 2014.

We had a great time discussing all the plans for the events, contests, competitions, possible sponsors and everything in general. The 2014 conference will be the best ever here in the ATL! We have all come together as a team here in Georgia to really make this a blast for everyone that attends.

The Student Chapter at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) created a new web application for students and professionals to volunteer for assisting in the labs and other things that take place behind the scenes at the conference. Volunteering is a great way to get some experience and also have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the industry who are at the conference as sponsors or as professional AITP members. The web application will go live in another few weeks and the link will be available from the main AITP NCC page,

Our Student Chapter at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) is responsible for the gaming fun event on Friday night from 7-11pm. Since SPSU has a gaming program, we will be supplying the game boxes and controllers for the games, cards and board games. We will have a huge room equipped and set up with Xboxes and LCDs, also a casual sitting area in the center of the room with snacks, etc. We will also be giving out door prizes every hour during the event. Players can bring their own controllers as long as they have a standard connector and take responsibility for keeping track of it. We are excited about hosting the conference and showing off our hometown and our skills in the competitions.

We look forward to meeting and hanging out with AITP students from all over the country. So the real question is how many are "Brave” enough to "Bring It” to the ATL! Game ON!
