Every AITP member controls the first line of defense in protecting his or her own personal and financial information maintained in electronic form -- picking and using effective passwords.

"If there's one lesson to be learned from the rash of hack attacks recently, it's the value of a strong password," reports Shan Li in a Los Angeles Times Tech Savvy article carrying the headline "How to pick a password that's hard to hack."
