You want to get the latest news and messages from AITP, right? The best way to do that is to make sure that your contact information is up to date. This includes your email address, snail-mail address, phone number, and even the spelling of your name.
You may have changed email addresses but may not have updated your AITP records. As a student member, you may have changed your email address for the summer. And graduating students may have taken on a brand new address once they left school.
To confirm the information that AITP has on file for you is accurate, please go to www.aitp.org. Click on "Manage Profile" in the right rail and then "Edit Bio". You will be prompted to log in. If you do not remember your login information, click the "Forgot Password?" link. Follow the prompts and your logon credentials will be immediately emailed to you.
Once you are at the BIO page, you can update your personal information. Just edit/verify the information listed is correct and then click update!
Also, please add aitp.org in your email spam filter as a trusted/valid address.
Now you can be sure that you will receive all AITP communications about new member benefits and educational opportunities. Your chapter and region will also be able to send you information about local events and news. And you will be able to receive email renewal notices, which will make renewing your AITP membership that much easier.
If you have any trouble updating your profile, email us at email@example.com or call AITP Headquarters at (800) 224-9371. We'd be happy to update and/or verify your contact information with you personally.
Chapter leaders: Please remember that you can assist your members in updating their contact information. Go to www.aitp.org/mychapter. The Chapter Leaders Area has a link for "Update Chapter Member Contact Information".
Getting the right contact information is a win-win for Members, Chapters, Regions and the Association. It helps ensure that you get the most out of your AITP membership.
