Use of the old AITP logo officially ended December 31, 2009. With the adoption of our new brand for a consistent and uniform identity to the public, please make sure all your online venues, i.e. websites and social groups such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Plaxo, etc, are displaying the new AITP logo.
AITP Brand Guidelines for Social Forums and Websites:
- All online presences (websites, LinkedIn Groups, etc.) must now display the new AITP logo. The official AITP logo can be downloaded at AITP Promotion page.
- All online social forums (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Plaxo or other social groups) must identify your region/chapter by your official name.
For example: AITP Chicago, AITP Nashville, AITP Johnstown, AITP Phoenix
And when necessary, please include your city/state location. (Some chapters have a name that does not clearly identify their geographical location.)
For example: AITP Capitol Chapter - Springfield, IL, AITP Cornhusker Chapter - Lincoln, NE
To ensure the public knows who your group is, we need your geographical location to be identified and when describing who you are, please note if you are a professional chapter or a student chapter (or a special interest group) of AITP.
For example: AITP Charleston is the professional chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals serving the IT business profession in South Carolina.
- For all existing AITP LinkedIn Groups, if you would like to be a subgroup to the National Association's LinkedIn Group, please send a request to marketing@aitp.org.
If you have any questions, please contact us at marketing@aitp.org.
