In what has become holiday traditions in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego, Region 1 Professional Chapters in these cities celebrated the holidays with other local business technology professionals.
Las Vegas Chapter joined the leading technology organizations in Las Vegas on December 4th for an industry-wide semi-formal Holiday Gala Technology for Tots to network, have fun, and make the holidays a little brighter for underprivileged kids in Las Vegas. In its fourth year, Technology for Tots brings together members and guests of local AITP, WITI, PMI, ISACA, and IIBA with the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN) to support the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
Los Angeles Chapter partied with other leading technology and business groups on December 2nd at Digital Family Reunion '09. This is the second annual Digital Family Reunion, and DFR '09 was the largest holiday party this year in Los Angeles. DFR '08 attracted 800 attendees in December 2008 from media, technology, and other leading SoCal business and public sectors.
San Diego Chapter held its annual "Ring in the Holidays" networking event on December 9th with local AIIM, IIBA, ISACA, and PMI members and guests. There was no program, no selling ... just friends in technology-rich San Diego getting together to renew relationships and create new ones.
