AITP Region 3 Student Conference, held Oct 23-25, 2008 in San Angelo at Angelo State University with 420 attendees, witnessed the TxState AITP Contest Team:
Office Solutions: 1st Place - Owais Barlas & Nathan Lloyd; 2nd Place - Eric Bramble & Daryn Burleigh Systems Analysis & Design: 3rd Place - Gene Ognibene & Autumn Pitts; Honorable Mention - Owais Barlas & Nathan Lloyd Application Development: 2nd Place - Eric Bramble, Aaron Covington, Gene Ognibene Database Design: 3rd Place - Nathan Lloyd & Corey Nemec
Additionally, the Texas State AITP Chapter was recognized as the Region 3 Outstanding Student Chapter for 2007-2008 and is now eligible for the association level award to be announced at the 2009 AITP NCC event in Oklahoma City.
