Dear Foundation of Information Technology Education Regents:
First off, I would like to say a very enthusiastic thank you for awarding me the Betty Stevens-Frecknall Scholarship. I know it will be put to good use funding my college career. Thank you sincerely for all your help. I very greatly appreciate it. Out of all the people who signed up for this wonderful scholarship, you chose me. For that I am truly thankful. I will not let you down. I assure you that your investment in my schooling will be well-placed. I look forward to a promising career upon my graduation, only made possible by the contributions of wonderful organizations such as this.
My family also very much appreciates your help. My father, who has been president of the Atlanta chapter of AITP two times and has been with his company for over thirty years, had to go through chemotherapy for colon cancer in the past two years. This largely spent the money that we needed to fund my college career. However, winning this scholarship has greatly helped relieve the stress of finding enough money to afford tuition at the University of Oklahoma. I truly appreciate all you help and look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you once again for all the help you have given to me and my family.
