The Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship, is being awarded for the second time this year. In 2003, several individual members of AITP joined together with local AITP chapters and the AITP Special Interest Group, Education (EDSIG), to establish this fund. Kevin Jetton served as AITP Association President in 2002, and has been the driving force behind the AITP National Collegiate Conference since its inception in 1996. This program is intended to recognize outstanding service to fellow IT professionals through leadership and volunteer activity, including leadership roles in AITP student chapters. The other major factor in identifying a recipient is demonstrated academic achievement. Candidates must be AITP student members.
