Kevin Jetton is a Past President of AITP, current President of the Foundation for Information Technology Education and a driving force behind the AITP National Collegiate Conference. In 2003, some members of AITP and the AITP Education Special Interest Group (EDSIG) established the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship that is administered by the Foundation for Information Technology Education.
Recipients must be full-time students pursuing a degree in Information Technology and member of an AITP Student Chapter. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic ability, demonstrated service and leadership potential.
The recipient of the 2011-2012 Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship is Jared Parrish, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

When he learned of his selection, Jared told the Foundation: "I am honored to have been selected as a recipient of this year's national Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship. Involvement with AITP during my undergraduate years has led to professional and academic growth and taught leadership qualities that will accompany me long past my Information Technology education at Purdue University. The financial contributions of this scholarship will enable me to finish my education and personal and professional goals after college.
