We have many interesting volunteer leadership positions at both the national and the local levels within our Association! Below are listed a number of open national positions where were can utilize your expertise in the following areas:
Association Development
Partners & Affiliates Committee – Are you talented in interfacing with possible partners and vendors to work with AITP to provide enhanced benefits to our membership? We could use your help on either the committee or to become the Chair of this group.
Operations
On Line services – We could use help with those who interface with our website – routine support or help in making our processes better!
General IT Help – Work on our website or provide various types of IT support, or perhaps you are able to program in java or .net. This position is great even for students who want to be able to have hands on experience on their resume.
Communications & Publications – Members who enjoy writing and keeping our members informed as to what is going on in the industry. Work on the IE newsletter or work on our website. You can be part of the team or even become the Chair in this group!
Legislative & Regulatory Affairs – This committee is looking for volunteers!
Chapter & Regional Support
Association Awards – Be part of the group that revamps and makes our national awards program even better. We need individuals to work on the committee and are also looking for someone dedicated to head up this team.
GITCA Benefits Team – Interface with the very successful AITP-GITCA (Global IT Community Association) team.
Membership Services
Professional & Enterprise Members – Have great ideas for membership campaigns and promotions? We need you in this committee, or you could possibly help chair it!
