CONISAR (Conference on Information Systems Applied Research) is a conference held annually in conjunction with ISECON (Information Systems Educators Conference) and promotes discussion and
research in Applied Information Systems. AITP members and IT educators are
encouraged to attend to stay current in the rapidly changing field of IT.
This year’s conference will feature four industry workshops
presented by leading technology firms on the Thursday of the conference
(November 7). The topics will be: Data Science and Big Data (EMC);
Essential Web Development
Skills to Build Desktop/Tablet Apps & Modern Websites (Microsoft);
Implementing Storage & Data Management in IS Programs (NetApp); and Back to
the Mainframe: IBM zEnterprise (IBM).
the main part of the conference on Friday and Saturday, workshops, panels and
paper presentations will be on various topics including: HTML 5: A
Hands-On Workshop for Leveraging the Latest in Web Technology, WorkLight - A
New Paradigm in Mobile Application Development, Data Analytics with R and On
the Shoulders of Giants: Mobile Websites with Twitter Bootstrap. Separate
registration required for Friday and Saturday sessions.
