Kevin Jetton is a Past
President of AITP, current Vice-President of the Foundation for Information
Technology Education and a driving force behind the AITP National Collegiate
Conference. In 2003, some members of
AITP and the AITP Education Special Interest Group (EDSIG) established the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship that is
administered by the Foundation for Information Technology Education.
Recipients must be full-time students pursuing a degree in Information
Technology and member of an AITP Student Chapter. This scholarship is awarded
on the basis of scholastic ability, demonstrated service and leadership
The recipient of the 2013-2014 Kevin Jetton
Service Scholarship is Karly Holland, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA
to Karly for her achievement!
When she learned of her selection, Karly told the Foundation:
"I am thankful to the Foundation of Information Technology
Education for graciously selecting me as the 2013-2014 recipient of the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship. Receiving this scholarship makes me proud to
represent Information Technology students in the United States, and brings me
motivation going into my final semester at the University of Iowa. I will obtain a degree in Information Systems
and Business Analytics in May and begin serving the IT industry full time. As an IT professional, I hope to, like Mr.
Jetton, continue supporting the future of our industry.”Karly
