Twin City Chapter Named Region 5 Outstanding Chapter Region 5 congratulates the Twin City Chapter in Bloomington, Illinois for winning the Region Outstanding Chapter Award (ROCA) for their performance in 2009.
The ROCA award is given to one chapter each year and is picked from the chapters that attained the Chapter Outstanding Performance Award (COPA) for the previous year. Twin City was one of 4 very qualified Region 5 chapters that attained COPA for 2009.
The Twin City Chapter has made great strides in the past few years in improving the chapter in terms of providing more benefits for its members and increasing its participation in Association, Region and Chapter activities, as well as its participation in "giving forward" to local educational institutions, the local community at large, and the business community. Congratulations to 2009 Twin City Chapter President Sue Braun and the entire chapter for their achievement.
The Twin City Chapter now joins the ROCA winners from other Regions. One of them will be given the Association Outstanding Chapter Award (AOCA).
The SCOPA award recognizes outstanding performance in the areas of education, membership, public relations, meetings and Association participation.
