The Foundation of Information Technology (FITE) is pleased to announce that the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship committee has selected the recipients for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Kevin Jetton is a Past President of AITP, current President of the Foundation for Information Technology Education and a driving force behind the AITP National Collegiate Conference. In 2003, some members of AITP and Education Special Interest Group established the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship Endowment that is administered by the Foundation for Information Technology Education.
Recipients must be full-time students pursuing a degree in Information Technology and member of an AITP Student Chapter. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic ability, demonstrated service and leadership potential.
There were two scholarships awarded this year and each student will be awarded scholarship towards their education.
