2005 AITP Election Results!

The elected officers and directors for 2005 AITP include:

President Brian Reithel, Ph.D., Jackson, MS chapter

EVP/President-Elect Mark Gilfand, Twin City, IL chapter

Secretary/Treasurer Teresa Hickerson, Oklahoma City, OK chapter

Western Director Jim Henry, Anchorage, AK chapter

Central Director Rich Barnier, Northern IL/Windy City chapter

Southern Director Mark Kleine, Oklahoma City, OK chapter

Eastern Director Allan Kotmel, Hudson-Mohawk, NY chapter

All members in good standing were sent an election e-mail in July directing them to the AITP web portal to learn more about the candidates, including their vision for AITP and their leadership and service history. For the first time, AITP held electronic elections, thanks to AITP Webmaster Mark Kleine of the Oklahoma City chapter. It was a huge success!

The results were as follows and, of course, members who voted could only vote for the district candidate in their respective district:

Executive Vice President / President Elect Mark Gilfand: 231 votes

Secretary/Treasurer Teresa Hickerson: 229 votes

Eastern District Director Alan Kotmel: 45 votes

Central District Director Rich Barnier: 68 votes

Southern District Director Mark Kleine: 55 votes

Western District Director Jim Henry: 61 votes
