Mile High Chapter Past Presidents' Night And Scholarship Awards Night: Dave Sanders Columbine Information Technology Scholarship Harold M. Pool Recognition Award
On May 19, 2011, the Mile High AITP chapter held its Past Presidents' and Scholarship Awards Night dinner meeting.
It was an excellent meeting, and a good opportunity for the young and not-so-young to discuss the history and current state of IT. Nine Chapter Past Presidents attended. It was a pleasure to see many of our Past Presidents and to catch up.

Peter Schichtel, a graduating senior from Columbine High School,received the Dave Sanders Columbine Information Technology Scholarship. Michael Ervin, Mesa State College, received the Harold M. Pool Recognition Award (previously known as the Harold M. Pool Memorial Scholarship). And our very own Elaine Miller received the prestigious and well-deserved AITP Lifetime Achievement Award.

Our thanks to the Mesa State students, and to Dr. Snyder and his family, for making the trip from Grand Junction for the meeting. We also very much appreciated the presentation of their winning experiences at the National Collegiate Conference (NCC). The Chapter is very proud of the team, and we again offer our congratulationsto all the winners.
