Our members hail from large corporations to independent consultants, to IT vendors and IT recruiters. We strive to supply education, exposure to new ideas and to local resources for our members.

The Tarheel Chapter of AITP covers the center of North carolina, from Burlington to Hickory, from southern Virginia to Lexington, NC. The IT professionals and students in this Piedmont Triad area are welcome to join us - but all are welcome to visit and attend programs. Some programs are limited and require membership due to security issues.

The Tarheel Chapter of AITP has been in existence since 1970. We are Information Technology Professionals that are dedicated to improving our knowledge, our contribution to our organizations and the community. Through our programs we expose our members and guests to new technologies, applications, and management techniques as well as ideas to help them in their careers.

AITP Tarheel Chapter is a group of dedicated IT professionals. We want to be the source of new and pertinent local and national information for our members and the IT departments, independents, IT schools and IT companies in the Piedmont Triad area.
