Our chapter is the Northwest Arkansas Chapter. The area it covers is Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville and nearby communities.

The industry in Northwest Arkansas includes the national headquarters for Wal-Mart, JB Hunt Transport, Cooper Communities and Tyson Foods. We are working with the University of Arkansas as well as other local community colleges.

There are many, many IT jobs in this area of Arkansas and it is our hope that our chapter membership will continue to grow and thrive due to this diversity.

Meetings will usually be held on the last Thursday of the month 6:00 to 7:30. There may be variations to accomodate special guest speakers.

Currently, the April, June, August, October, and December meetings are planned as "social meetings" at some popular Northwest Arkansas gathering place. More formal, business oriented meetings are planned for the remaining months, with several interesting speakers asking to be scheduled.
