PCS was earned by Evergreen, Honolulu, Anchorage, Puget Sound and Central Idaho

Honolulu Chapter was awarded the Region Outstanding Chapter Award.

Evergreen Chapter won Outstanding Newsletter - Category A (David Chapin editor)

Renewals

Need to improve our percentages for renewals. The Association target is 72%.

At this time Central Idaho meets that target.  Way to go Central Idaho!

Greater San Jose – exceeds target by far.  The interesting thing is that they don’t meet.

As a reminder---- It pays to keep tabs on renewals for PCS; especially why individuals are not renewing.

Chapter Reports

Anchorage Report – Jan Blanchard   -- Membership at 69 – exceeded goal.  Great Programs – good value in presentations – many hosted meetings - Good student chapter participation. Have three student chapter – ITExpo – Oct 19 -20 – 130 seminars, 8 tracks – repeat super tech competition that was started last year

Evergreen (from Robbins submittal), Gladys Norman report.  8 Active members – small size – hard to get speakers. Still holding meetings. Edmonds CC having issues due to lack of leadership. Finances are good

Eugene – Gladys Norman reported the chapter is inactive.

Central Idaho  - Carolee Bauer - Still meeting on monthly bases.

Greater San Jose – Communications with Wayne.

Honolulu – Sam Luke -- Chapter is doing quite well – good leadership. Finances are in very good shape - membership flat – gained about 8 new members, but lost about the same - no conference this year –Honolulu regrouped – will hold educational opportunities outside of the conference.  Once a quarter, starting in Oct will have educational session on patch management – will be a slight fee to cover room costs .

Central Valley – Diana Shelton reporting --There has been no reply to inquiries to prepare a Chapter report.  Still meeting regularly.  Pete suggests that someone of the region visit their meeting.

Puget Sound – Pete Schmitt  --  Around 22 members – a couple of new members.  Good Microsoft support – adds to meeting attendance.  Chapter got Bill Gates longevity certificate.  Pete routed via Rob (Microsoft) to Bill Gates.  Newsletter still going.

Inland Empire – Pete Schmitt   No report – no contact

Evergreen – Pete via Robbin and Dave Chapin  -- Publication is up.  Meetings are up.  Membership down.  Association participation up.  Edmonds CC down (out) due to lack of leadership.  Publications costs might have to be reduced.  “We refuse to give up  -   we’re still bailing out this”.
