NCC Funding Reminder

The 2006 AITP National Collegiate Conference (NCC) is scheduled for March 30, 2006 and April 1, 2006 in Dallas, Texas! Region 5 has already issued a funding support opportunity to its student chapters for supplemental funding (Check the Region 5 URL: http://www.aitp.org/region5/info-ncc.html for the letter and form).

NOTE: Submittals (forms and all supporting documentation) must be submitted by March 3, 2006!

Region 5 Upcoming Events

1. AITP Region 5 Spring Conference, Springfield, IL - May 4, 2006 and May 5, 2006

2. Our very first Region 5 Student Conference, Davenport, IA - October 6, 2006
   Region 5 Coordinator: Bob Grenier, Ph.D., CCP; Conference Chair: Lori Walljasper

3. AITP Region 5 Fall Meeting and Chapter Workshop, St. Louis, MO - September 28, 2006 and September 29, 2006
   Note: Association President, Mark Gilfand, will be speaking at the chapter meeting, Thursday evening, September 28, 2006

Chapter Help for February

1. Complete the COPA submittal by March 1, 2006! You will find what you need at www.aitp.org under Operations/Manuals and Forms followed by a search for COPA. Add documentation at each chapter meeting and you will be surprised how easy it is to achieve the Chapter Outstanding Performance Award!
2. Complete and submit the new chapter officers' form. (This form is critical to ensure the right chapter members receive AITP news and focused emails!) Again, you can find at www.aitp.org under Operations/Manuals and Forms followed by a search for Chapter Officers Form.
3. Individual Performance Awards (IPA) should be submitted two months prior to the planned presentation. Use the spreadsheet on www.aitp.org under the Association Manuals and Forms web page.
4. Update your chapter webpage on www.aitp.org and the chapter's website. Let's make the chapters in Region 5 the most current!

1. Check the Region 5 webpage, www.aitp.org/region5/ , for current information! The redesign and updates are in progress thanks to the web committee chaired by John Council and webmaster, Aaron Nance!
2. The Region 5 Officers welcome your input and questions. Feel free to contact us! Remember you can email us from the www.aitp.org webpage for Region 5.
3. Would you like a Region 5 Officer to visit your chapter? Send us your request and the officers will do their best to visit your chapter!
