Congrats to all the winners from Region 5!! And to all our student members who attended the NCC and competed in the various contests. You went up against the “best of the best” in the field of Information Techonology education. For those who have never attended a National Collegiate Conference, I can’t properly describe the synergy and enthusiasm that permeates the event and the competitions.

If you do attend, you will stand back and say “This is what AITP is all about—IT education and professional networking at its best”.

2010 National Collegiate Conference is coming to Region 5:

And if you haven’t ever attended an NCC, you will be getting a chance next year. The 2010 National Collegiate Conference is going to be held, right here in our Region, in St. Louis on March 25-27, 2010. Save those dates!! More details to follow.

Our Region 5 Spring Meeting in 2010 will be held in conjunction with the NCC-so now you have two good reasons to attend.

We had 14 of our 56 Student Chapters represented this year in Oklahoma City. I would expect that, with St Louis being in driving distance for all of our chapters, that we could double or triple our Student Chapter, and professional chapter, attendance in St Louis.

Reminder to register for the Region 5 Spring Conference-NOW

See you all in the Windy City on May 14-15 for the Region 5 Spring Conference and Region Board meeting and Leadership Workshop. This is one you won’t want to miss!!!

For more information on this conference, go to aitp.org/region5/meetings.jsp and register today!!
