Unleashing Your Career Potential
John Thalheimer, Leadership Guide and Founding Executive Director - True Star Leadership
We all are interested in becoming better leaders. Our February speaker will tell us how to become better leaders by understanding the link between the desired business results and the behavioral decisions we make.
Each day leaders make hundreds of behavioral decisions that affect the organization’s business results. Unfortunately, the behavioral decision process usually goes unnoticed by our leaders, and they end up making decisions out of habit. Our speaker will discuss how he guides leaders and emerging leaders through a process that helps them understand how their behaviors originate and how changing them will positively impact their business results. Our speaker is John Thalheimer who is The Leadership Guide and the Founding Executive Director of True Star Leadership. True Star Leadership provides Leadership Strategy Assessments, Coaching, Training, and Individual Leadership Assessment. True Star Leadership was established in 2016.
John is President of 03 Consulting, LLC here in Nashville. 03 Consulting, LLC provides leadership development services for senior leaders and their teams. John is also a Certified Coach for Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Center Coaching in the greater Nashville area.
Previously, John spent eight years in the Greater Philadelphia area with the QVC organization as an Area Talent Manager and Manager of Studio & Guest Operations. John holds an M.S. degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Organizational Leadership and a B.A. degree in Communication from the Susquehanna University. He is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional.
John and his wife live in the West End area of Nashville and enjoy hiking with their two dogs. They have only been in Nashville for two years; previously, they lived in the Philadelphia area. John says his best vacation was two weeks bicycling in France.
This should be an interesting session on leadership. John is known for engaging his audience with inspiring storytelling and great at connecting the learning topics to actual business applications.
