Blockchain Technology: Breakdown and Conceptualization

What is a blockchain, and how does it work? What’s innovative about its design, and how does it differentiate from other technology stacks? Is Bitcoin a fad? What about smart contracts… Why are so many businesses taking note?

Our presentation will answer these questions — and many, many more — through a simple and foundational approach to core concepts. Following the basics, we’ll stretch our minds and rapidly expand our understanding of blockchain as a whole.

Whether you’re brand new to the blockchain space or a seasoned guru, we guarantee you’ll walk away with a clearer view of this incredibly complex space.

Come join us, and let’s talk blockchain!

Speaker: Jonathan Morley is a serial hobbyist and software engineer in the financial industry. In late 2017, he wrote a top-selling book on blockchain technology, aptly titled, “That Book on Blockchain: A One-Hour Intro.” Jonathan has presented on the topics in his book to universities, start-ups, marketing companies, and multi-national corporations.
