Software Defined Networking
SDN (Software Defined Networking) and NFV (Network functions virtualization) means different things to different people. In this session, we will introduce SDN, understand how it enables NFV and briefly look at the benefits of virtualizing the network. We will examine two compelling SDN applications, Hybrid Cloud and SD-WAN that are driving the rapid adoption of SDN at service providers and use these examples to explore the opportunity to create a heightened level of awareness and high availability when designing virtualized networks.
