Leading the Leaders: How IT Can Have a Greater Voice of Influence at the Top of the Organization

As someone who has spent significant time in IT, you’ve realized that having your voice properly heard in the organization is no small challenge. All too often, IT is looked upon as the people who do the short-term, quick fixes, like fixing the server. How do you amplify and re-position your role in the company as a real contributor with new ideas to be respected and heard?

In this conversation with David Spitulnik of Spitulnik Advisors, you’ll be equipped with strategies you can use right away to help leaders in the organization better appreciate how your recommendations from an IT perspective fit in with the overall business goals and outcomes. No matter where you are within your company structure, from entry level to senior level, Spitulnik’s insights will give you a framework to ensure you can communicate your knowledge of the “big picture” of the company’s direction and how it relates to IT decisions. And that should have them looking at you as a leader who must have a voice when big, new initiatives are on the table.
